Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using www.techpaths.dev(the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and TechPaths ("we", "our", "us") under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Platform. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Platform.
• You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under Indian law.
• If you are accessing the Platform on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration. Providing false information is a violation of these Terms.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must notify us immediately at techpaths.support@gmail.com of any unauthorised use of your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Subscription Plans

We offer the following subscription plans for access to premium content and learning paths:

• Monthly Plan: ₹799 per month, billed monthly
• Annual Plan: ₹6,999 per year, billed annually

All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

4.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Razorpay, a payment gateway regulated by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). By making a payment, you also agree to Razorpay's terms of service. We do not store your payment instrument details.

4.3 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You will receive a notification before renewal. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from your Dashboard.

4.4 Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:

• Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused periods.
• No Refund Policy: We generally maintain a strict no refund policy for digital goods. No refunds will be provided for any reasons, except in cases where the Platform fails to deliver the promised digital service due to extended technical failures on our end.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on the Platform — including articles, learning paths, diagrams, code examples, and the Platform's design — is the exclusive intellectual property of TechPaths and is protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and applicable Indian and international IP laws.

You may:

• Read and use content for your personal, non-commercial learning
• Share links to articles on social media

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, republish, or redistribute any content without written permission
• Use content for commercial purposes, training AI models, or creating derivative works
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content from the Platform
• Share your account credentials or subscription access with others

Violation of these IP rights may result in account termination and legal action under the Copyright Act, 1957.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose under Indian law
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its infrastructure
• Introduce malware, viruses, or any malicious code
• Circumvent any access controls, paywalls, or security measures
• Use automated tools to access, scrape, or download content
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Platform
• Violate any applicable law including the IT Act 2000, IT Amendment Act 2008, or DPDPA 2023

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform and all content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• The content is complete, accurate, or up-to-date. Technology evolves rapidly — always verify information from official documentation
• Use of the content will guarantee any specific outcome, including employment, interview success, or skill acquisition

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable Indian law, TechPaths shall not be liable for any:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Damages arising from reliance on Platform content
• Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TechPaths and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your:

• Use of the Platform in violation of these Terms
• Violation of any applicable law
• Infringement of any third-party rights

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Non-payment of subscription fees
• Fraudulent or abusive behaviour
• Any conduct we deem harmful to the Platform or other users

Upon termination, your right to access premium content ceases immediately. Provisions relating to IP, liability, indemnification, and governing law survive termination.

11. Third-Party Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of those third parties. Accessing third-party links is at your own risk.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved as follows:

• Step 1 — Informal Resolution: Contact us at techpaths.support@gmail.com. We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 30 days.
• Step 2 — Arbitration: If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with a sole arbitrator appointed by mutual agreement.
• Jurisdiction: Courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction for any matters not resolved by arbitration.

13. Grievance Redressal

As required under the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, we have designated a Grievance Officer to address complaints:

• Response time: Acknowledgement within 24 hours, resolution within 30 days

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TechPaths regarding your use of the Platform and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
